Not long now. Hope everyone has banked lots of sleep as we head into a week of world class O (and live coverage to match - fingers crossed). Go you kiwis!

You wouldn't believe it, one of the kids downloaded a bunch of games onto the ipod chewing up a lot of valuable MB's. there is a real danger my broadband won't last the week and everything will revert to dail-up speed. Great timing. I seriously need to find a reason to ban all use of the net until Woc is complete.

That would be extra annoying. It is clear that you should change your ISP.

Or-con them with a sling shot

Show Profile  Michael Posted: 7 August 2010, 3:19 PM
I grin at all this clever talk; but I hope it will inspire you to do something about it Paul.

So I make that from 8:15 pm onwards. But anyone who knows if they have summer time in Norway and can figure out what way that moves things without their head exploding is most welcome to correct me. Preferably before kickoff ;-)

Show Profile  Mike Adams Posted: 8 August 2010, 2:50 AM
Norway is 10 hours behind us currently.

So you can start watching La's track at 1915.

better late than never?

Michael, our monthly 10Gigs allowance has already run out, i would have thought that would have been enough for any normal household who doesn't download illegal music or movies. I'll have to rely on you guys for as much news and drama as possible but it's gonna suck without live gps etc
Should have thought about this weeks ago as prep for the big woc week!

Hey all!
devestated im not running this morning, just about come to terms that i'll be watching on the web like all of you back home, and then found out i had to pay to get any live gps etc!

anyone back home relaxing on a sunday evening watching the results coming in?

Show Profile  Michael Posted: 8 August 2010, 12:00 PM
I assume your ankle isn't right Lizzie, what's the outlook?

Show Profile  Lizzie Posted: 8 August 2010, 12:02 PM
Rita 19th in heat 2 with 18.17, won by Linnea Gustafsson in 14.39, cut off for finals (15th) 17.17

Lara 21st in heat 3 19.03, won in 15.34 and cut of 17.43

got to feel for zenia, missing out on qual by 1s in a heat with simone, helena and minna!

Show Profile  Michael Posted: 8 August 2010, 12:23 PM
Yes, in searching for Zenia I wonder why there isn't a simple little feature on the results, a red line under place 15 (or whatever number it is, sometimes THAT takes some searching out).

Show Profile  Michael Posted: 8 August 2010, 12:37 PM
Ross and many others apparently DSQ, any idea what's going on Lizzie? It looks like what happens when we stuff up the courses in teh SI software, no doubt it can happen in Emit as well.

Show Profile  Mike Adams Posted: 8 August 2010, 12:38 PM
what's with all the dsq in the mens? Watching results on my phone so only getting limited data.

Show Profile  Lizzie Posted: 8 August 2010, 12:49 PM
Sorry I only know as much as you bout the dsqs michael, assume its a tech glitch. i'm watching on the net from britain where im trying to get the ankle seen to.

had mri scans the other day and got report back friday, severe bruising in the ankle joint and a probable hairline fracture which certainly explains why i found running at world uni's so painful! off to dr tomorrow to devise a plan of action.
