Simply outstanding for both Lizzie and Ross.
Disappointed to miss the finals action with loss of internet. There are still no qualification results? It's a wakeup call about no-go barriers, if they are not physically difficult to cross maybe they need to be taped. But grass???

It's the endurance session tonight (and it will be a fairly tough day for the athletes as well)
Women's starts (NZ time) 10:30 pm - 12:43 with Lizzie @ 11:55, with Brits on either side
Men starts 11pm - 1:12 am, with Chris 2nd cab off the rank at 1103 (odds on being first finisher?)
With course lengths 10.3 km + 445 m and 15.8 km + 690 m I don't think the winning times will be on the short side this year!

crazy day yesterday but yes great results at the end for Ross and Lizzie.Awesome!
There was huge controversy in the morning, i will comment more later but overall the best sprint orienteers were found and the Organisers managed to pull off am ambitious day.
Just off to the festival and the long final!

Amazing results to wake up to this morning! Wouldn't go so far as to say we were expecting such a good result from Lizzie, but definitely not surprised after the great results in Switzerland. Hope it gives all of the team confidence for the remaining finals and the relay.

The snow in Auckland has gone. The squid should have defrosted!

Lizzie confirmed 14th unless there's someone I've forgotten, Chris 10th of 22 finishers so far - that should be good for top 30, maybe better if the top guys have some fun and games ...and it appears I have failed the endurance test - good night!
