Numbers for nationals:
http://www.orienteeringresults.com/O/nzof/ShowSeries.asp?Series=New Zealand Champs
2010 Otago 429
2009 Woodhill 364
2008 Wairarapa 407
2007 South Auckland 376
2006 Nelson 433
2005 Hawkes Bay 447
2004 Manawatu 385
2003 Woodhill 474
So well over 500 entries for this year is a great result.
However, in 1984 the nationals was held at the same time as APOC with 685 entries for the individual at Naseby.

Bryan, would it be possible to get a comparison of NZ entrants this year versus 1984? No worries if too tricky, just curious to get a more direct comparison

Some of you seem to have missed the dinner option on your email form, and were meaning to come. If that is you, email: 2011@hborienteering.com before this friday (8th April). Pay as you did before, but be sure to attach the correct reference name.

$34 for Dinner... That must be a record too?! Might be hard pressed to beat Dunedin on wait time though...

Pretty cheap for HB. Cost John Key $14,000 for a bit of grub at Cape Kidnappers not so long ago.
