Would be awesome to watch that battle at the front, but all I can get is a lovely map with no dots wriggling around on it.
Big call time: worst place for NZ 22 (Neil caught by Delobel and Nikolov, and no places gained), ok maybe 23, Lithuania might come into mix but hopefully 9 minutes a good enough cushion

Bad luck, java-impaired bird man.
Also bad luck for Neil -- his dot had the eastern-most #1 and missed it on the first pass or two. #3 (western-most) wasn't too pretty either. Hopefully that hasn't done his head in too much...

Looks like Thierry just threw away his lead by getting halfway from 22 to 24 before remembering that 23 comes next!

Ah yes, Krepsta... in that case LTU definitely could have something to do with NZ final placing...

I can see how missing out 23 could be quite tempting, even for TG. Will France ever win the relay? (hope so)
Now better see if I can find our Mr Kerrison...

Our Mr Kerrison now leaving #24. Safely in 21st, quite a bit after #20, Estonia.
(Also hooray for Latvia, knocking all the Scandinavians for six!)

Hooray, another WOC over for NZ. Thought that finishing in top 20, on terrain where a lot of the continental European teams won't feel disadvantaged, would be a major achievement for this team so 21st (or if anyone wants to argue, 23rd in real terms) is a pretty good result. Well done all the team, enjoy the pivo tonight - it has been thoroughly earned!
And how about those Chinese women? I know there were a few disparaging remarks going on during the 1st leg, but apparently they can navigate as well as run!
