WOC

Show Profile  Paul I Posted: 20 August 2009, 6:53 AM
birdman has a twin, treeman.
It could be worse, I have to stay up all night, not for pleasure but for work, and I don't even get to see any action (yes, and that).
So just relying on reliving the race via any info I can find.

for any other map freaks around here are the old and new versions of the middle final. And I suspect the relay will be based around the open area to the east of the middle, see old map, that area looks pretty interesting to me.

with the route gadget link, if your map doesn't show up, just click where the map should appear then click and drag the map into view! Hope that helps someone.
For some reason the animated race replay isn't working for me tho darn it.

Bummer Paul, no rave tonight then, let alone a disco. We need a facebook or twitter setup to send text updates automatically to your cell. Maybe the world of o twitter can be configured...?

Just caught up with happenings. No start lists for final posted yet but the scheduled time I think happens to = 2:30-5 am for us. Hmmmmm..... Hopefully we'll get confirmation before committing to getting up!

Great runs by the guys again, but some interesting goings on with the girls - first off, heat 1: nearly half the field mp!!?! I doubt we've heard the last of this. And the odds of Minna, Simone, Anne-Magrethe and Hanny all drawing the same heat??? Will the finish order (of the 3 that made it at least!) prove to be a predictor of the final result?

Startlists posted

Men 1621-1706 (=0221-0306 I think)
Chris 1646 (0246)
Khramov 1647!, Vilius LTU 1648, Dwojak POL 1649...
Ross 1650 (0250)
Potential winners scattered through just about the whole start list!

Women 1730-1814 (0330-0414) with Hausken @1802 and the rest of the favourites in the last 5 minutes.

Hope nobody's already gone to bed planning to sleep through most of the women's race and catch the men! I'm setting my quieter alarm, so MIGHT meet the usual crew here, but if not GO KIWIS!!!!!!!

two sprints in one day must be killer.

GO KIWIS!!!!!

Is there an audio commentary? Link?

Show Profile  John Marshall Posted: 20 August 2009, 6:54 PM
No audio today apparently. Nopesporters are variously recommending Norwegian and Finnish TV:
