Any results up on the web for the zoo sprint?
Also.. thanks everyone who organised the QB3, it was a great weekend packed with really well organised top-quality field racing. Bring back the chasing start, it's been too long.
Congrats to your WOC team, too, cya over there.

I finally found some time to load the information for QB.
Results, kilometre rates and rankings posted on statistics site:
http://www.orienteeringresults.com/O/nzof/default.asp
(rankings for elites based on a calendar year, rankings for others
based from the beginning of this year)

Sorry, I didn't pick up that for the QB event the abbreviaton of OT was used for Egmont so Neil was affected (as the software assumed he was not a New Zealander) - and others from this club too (eg Karl) - another example of non-standardisation of results and/or not informing me officially that a club wants to be known by another abbreviation. Other examples are HV, OHV and quite often organisers in the results like to put OC on the end of a club abbreviation (eg DOC) making it difficult for me.
A few years ago I did make a document specifying what should appear in results and what abbreviations to use but most clubs take no notice of it - quite often I have had results with don't even have clubs and I've had to search prior results to find which club a competitor belongs to.
I will update the database and recreate the rankings.

Woulldn't it be good if we had a proper NZOF member database with unique ids which could be used when you entered and in results. And online entry as well could follow - I haven't entered an event with a form for quite a while as in Sweden I just went to our club homepage where I could enter events with a few clicks of the mouse.
