No, Pak n Save and Magellan were 2/3 of the way down the river at 8:15. Not far enough to portage to the lake (if that were possible and allowed). Only 1km apart:-))

Well done Seagate. Nick you had a better routechoice from your armchair than I did:-)) So Harraway are still swinging or is their tracker kaput? Have Swordfox and Moa Hunters gained on MacPac? I think AWS's tracker (Greig) might have been failing to transmit all night as they are suddenly on the river and in 10th - or did I just doze off.

Another impressive race from Seagate (& esp Chris). Same goes for Harraways & Macpac (hell, all of them). I'm always astounded by the speed accuracy & efficiency these top teams can hold for so long.
Looked like a great course and superb event mgt. Website and media coverage are excellent. Perhaps/hopefully a AR renaissance for NZ?

Now most of the teams are through the Pisa, the routes make interesting viewing. Which one would you have taken Nick:-))
