On a positive note, isn't it awesome to have the classic after then sprint and middle. Something we have been asking for for a while.

So why exactly do you like the Long (Classic) after the Middle?
Is it because its easier to recover for the next day?

What if we throw a spanner in the works and run 2 Middles on the same day? (not that were thinking that at the moment)

Nationals 2008 are within 30-40 minutes of Masterton. Hilly clean pine forest for the main events. Pics on display this weekend.

Sounds great if you are thinking of bringing back the chasing middle Alan.

You got it in one on the other stuff.

Show Profile  Jamie Posted: 3 April 2007, 6:08 PM
yep that sums it up Alan.

maybe we are soft but a lot of elites have felt that they haven't been able to perform at their best in a middle distance the day after a nationals classic.

You should be expected to give your all, doesn't really take a lot of logic to work out which race takes the most out of you.

Anyone know if splits are going to go up on the web over the weekend?

Show Profile  Paul I Posted: 6 April 2007, 10:35 PM
You must have had a good run !

Show Profile  Dave Posted: 7 April 2007, 7:29 AM
No ... I just want to see how everyone goes over the weekend because the sprint is the only race I'm doing... and i want to see why i did so crap yesterday.. Apart from the fact i'm so slow at the moment.
