Two supporting events are on around the All Night Relays, these are a fundraiser for JWOC in Australia.
Sprint at Airport map on Sat starts from 3:30pm
Middle at Whakaipo Bay on Sun starts from 10am
More details under maptalk events and at Katoa Po update http://www.geocities.com/taupo_oc/katoapo2007/kp2007_update3.html
An indication of numbers attending would be helpful for map printing.

The sprint was on an awesome map, it has heaps of complex Taupo Gullies and you really do have to work hard in keeping to the plan.

HUGE Thanks to everyone who helped me out with the sprint race, especially Greg and Simon A in the planning stages and Sam on the day. Also to local clubs and Chris Morris for the map, equipment and behind the scenes stuff. I know the whole JWOC squad really appreciates the effort of these people, and the competitors, for their support over the Katoa Po weekend.
