|

  | addison | Posted: 4 January 2007, 2:20 AM Well the first day has been and gone. There was a qualifing race, from which the top 10 then had a 'shoot-out'. If you got 1st place in the qualifier you ended up with a shot at the $100 on offer in the final, out of the $350 prizepool. This was for the Mens A and Womans A only.

The fields look strong, with around 75 in the guys and 55 in the chicks.

Most of the NZ Guys looked like they had a hard time in the qualifier. Michael Adams had a blinder to finish 4th, with Julian Dent winning. Next best NZ'rs was Ross Morrison and Thomas Reynolds who tied for 12th.

Three NZ Woman made the top 10. Jenni continued her good form in placing 3rd, Tineke got 6th and Amber just made the top 10 in 10th place, 7s ahead of 11th placed Lizzie.

  | James | Posted: 7 January 2007, 11:59 AM well maybe amber should injure her ankle more often, cos her win on day 5 is pretty damn impressive!! Was 2 seconds down at the first control, then lead for the rest of the race! Congrats
