Why does no one go in your SS races? Will anyone turn up to the Waitangi weekend?

the results on the web from your latest race have barely ten in each race, are these SS races? is this a trend NZ? or are they just remote races that no one bothers to go to

yeah these are the races im talking about http://nzorienteering.com/superseries/resultsRound2.htm
Is it because they were on the South Island?

The last round at Waikaia was about 200km from the nearest major centre with an airport (Dunedin or Queenstown, Queenstown being slightly closer) Also being in the South Island never seems to attract a large amount of North Islanders....dont know why that is maybe they think we smell or are scared of flying or something....

Plus the 1st round of the SS was right in the around the same time of most University exams and the latest round was right at the begining of school exams which may explain why there is few people.

Cost $$$$$
Because the events in the series were announced so close to the actual event dates, the cost of airfares made it impossible for some people to book tickets. We can get cheaper flights to aussie than going down to dunedin or queenstown
(but me personally, im injured, so couldnt attend)
