Newsworthy Events ?

It seems NZOF is missing out on opportunities to promote the great things currently happening in the sport by its members, both within NZ and overseas. In the past few weeks we had/have at least JWOC, WMOC, MTBO, NZSSO, Oringen, WOC. Couldn't we have a 'news' section on http://www.nzorienteering.com/ ? The only 'reports' currently available seem to be the rants / raves / ramblings / abuse on maptalk. Maybe this serves a purpose for some...? We've just got Paul who does a great job.   Michael Posted: 19 July 2006, 6:37 AM   The MTBO and Rogaine websites (which are logically part of the NZOF website) have regularly-updated news. I'd like to see more news on the front page, quite brief and linking to specialist parts of the website as appropriate - such as High Performance. But it's a significant job - almost every day.   Michael Posted: 28 July 2006, 5:03 AM   NZOF is the clubs too, and you would think that club websites would have more news. A quick scan of the clubs which have members in Denmark shows no mention of WOC! In fact, there's an inverse relationship between the flashiness of the websites and their up-to-date-ness. This forum for excample has no pictures but is worth visiting cos there will be something new.
