The Swiss team announced in the last couple of days includes a name that rings a bell: Seline Stalder. I think she was in New Zealand some time in the last few years? Anyone remember how she compared against the kiwis, or could comment on whether it has taken a big step up since to make the Swiss team?

Yes Seline was Jean's and Jan's families' au pair. She was in NZ 2003-summer 2004 and got a silver medal in JWOC in 2004 so she was already good then. She described her orienteering then as top or flop and I think she's got less flop and more top now! She's really fast and like most Swioss good on hills - I remember her running in one of the hill races that Al organizes and she won and beat a girl (whose name I can't remember) who had won lots of junior cross contry and road races in Canterbury. Seline's been in the Swiss world cup teams for the last two years. I think Denmark will really suit her.
