its really expensive, is there another way i can get it? like does nz have a copy they give to course planners? or something? or does each club have an ocad laptop that they give to the planner... also is there an online tutorial for it?

I just use a hex editor for creating/editing ocad files. Fancy gui clients are a waste of time.
Hope this helps.

Why don't you ask your club?

You should ask your club because you'll need to get a copy of the maps. However if you have a look at the OCAD website you'll see that version 6 is free and OCAD version 9 has a demo version which is enough to create courses with.
You can't create maps but you can open any map and create a course on it.

PAPO has copies for people to use in planning courses and mapping. Richard English used to be the one to ask. At least you could try him first, Simon.
