does anyone know when the mtbo nationals are this year? and where are they? i couldnt see them on the events page.

Nationals this year are 2-3 September, Hanmer Springs

why have nationals been in the south island two years in a row?
its too far to go for most

Noone in the North Island was prepared to apply, and the driving force behind this application is Andy Clayton who organised the first NZ MTBO in Hamner in 2000. I had an area in mind, but didn't get off my bum to organise an event, so maybe next year.
