I have just started contributing to a different forum and noticed that people wrote things with full stops mid word. Eg. F.uck, p.rick.
Also I thought that most posters had no balls as they would write *BEEP* in their posts.
Then, in the course of my postings, to my horror, the word "shit" was automatically converted to *BEEP*.
So I started a new post:
Topic: shit.
Post: dick fuck shit.
which became:
Topic: *BEEP*
Post: *BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP*
so then I tried:
"fag grumpkin" which became "*BEEP* grumpkin".
"sex" = "*BEEP*"
so then I went:
"fuck prick dick shit cunt whore bitch"
which became:
"*BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP* cunt *BEEP* *BEEP*"
I wet myself, then put up the post now known as "the post of 43 cunts"
fifteen minutes later the post had been deleted and I was banned. But it was worth it.
There was no real point here, but if there was it would be Maptalk deserves a Chur chur for not censoring posts.

Just out of curiosity, was that an otherwise lucid post that simply had the word cunt liberally sprinkled throughout, or was it simply the word cunt repeated 43 times?

Of course, thanks to this thread no one will ever be able to access Maptalk from the Opotiki Public Library again. Mind you, the Porn filter that has been put on their computers to protect innocent eyes could perhaps have been better designed, as it would not only tell you that access to this page has been banned because pornographic content has been detected but then procede to tell you that it detected 3 instances of the word "Fuck", 3 instances of the word "Dick", 6 instances of the word "Cunt" etc etc.

No, it was 43 instances of the word *BEEP*. It attracted many replies of a similar vein, as well as encouraging sporadic use elsewhere on the site.
