2007 Elites World Cups Announced

Check that out. As as sign of the future, this timetable of events has 4 sprints, 4 middles (1 including micro), 2 longs.

Why cant we have a timetable like that for Superseries or something..

You can - by running all the events yourselves, like Waitangi. I'm afraid that "middle orienteering" prefers the long.

There are also elites in other countries who have spoken against the move away from the long, which they see as "selling out to media". Myself, I want to see a rich variety including, you will recall, "longer than long".

And what about the shit timetable. One off events focused around already big Scandi events. In 2008 why don't they just make the Swedish Elite Series the World Cup, wouldn't be much diffence to 2007.
