Hey I see a bunch of you tough New Zealanders are headed over to Tas for the XPD, awesome. Where are all the soft Aussies though?
Never having done an adventure race this long, wondering what you guys reckon is good footwear?
When are you guys flying in/out and where are you staying?
3 weeks to go, I better start my kayak training...

Great to see you are giving this a go. Rachel and I are using Vasque shoes, but I'm sure Soloman, Montrail etc are all good. I do know that you had better go up one size to counteract the swelling, and you had better get a decent tramp in them before the race.
Why is your team named as New Guinea?
