Pretty impressive there Brent - learn to kayak and you could be dangerous.
Can't wait for the match race between Brent and Jamie at a multi-sport race, hell I might even have to get the camera out of retirement :-)

Looks like Brent did about the same time alone as what he did last year with you doing the rides Jamie. Does this mean its already 1 - 0?

It was all serious work till we finished running. Team captain Dave St shouting beers at 11 in the morning made for plenty of fun though.
Nice work Brent

The score is 1-0. Jamie failed to show for the 1st event, the Brent -v- Jamie Motu Challenge, Challenge.

"ps the AMP challenge is confirmed..."
I hear Jamie is either going to be a DNS or a "I was only going at 80%" for this race now, leaving the door open for a Brent clean sweep of the Brent vs Jamie Challenges

Don't believe everything you hear. I may go down but it won't be without a fight.

Brent if Jamie beats you then the score will be 1-1. You will need to enter the traverse if you wish to win this years series. I suggest you take your opportunity to win this year, because next year I'll be back from injury, and ready to make you a big extinct chicken at the Wild Moa.

Did any other orienteers (other than Brent and Rob G) enter the K2 cycle race?
Were there many people on MTBs (like Arab)?

Very few did it on a mtb, and I wouldn't rush to do it again.
Paul and Sarah Gilkison, Guy Corywright and Stan Foster were the other orienteers that did it.
Looking forward to catching up at Easter Miss.
