Hanny is a legend!!! Looks like she's 6th. Simone Niggli won her 3rd gold by more than 2minutes
Chris is 31st at the first intermediate and hasnt come through the second yet. Rachel currently 21st at the finish with 3 people yet to finish. Rebecca sitting in 37th.
Looks like a tough day at the office for the Aussie men, all three DISQ'd for (as yet) unknown reasons.

Chris 28th & happy.
Rachel 21st & very happy.
Rebecca 38th and pleased to have survived well.
Aussie Men:
Troy: folded his map at the end of the long leg and started reading a leg or 2 on - then ran another leg before realising he'd missed 1-2 controls :-P
Dave: twisted an ankle apparently.
Grant: Forgot to punch at the drinks control on the road at about 80% - would've had 114 mins - a couple ahead of Chris.

Have been scoring copies of the maps as competition progresses. Anyone who finished in either of today's finals is a legend in my opinion!

Great story on the Australian website. Looked like an absolute mission of a race.

I expect a heap of apologies will now flood in from those who criticised the 94 World Cup courses...
