Looks like Chris has had a solid run and will be in the final! And Rachael too.
Anyone know how many qualify from each heat?

Thats excellent, 3/6 is pretty good.

Results:
MENS
Heat A: Neil 18th
Heat B: Brent 24th
Heat C: Chris 6th
All 3 Australians made it in, Grant Bluett 10th, Troy 15th, Dave Shep 14th. Carsten 17th in Brents heat. Looks like Brents heat was pretty hard!
WOMANS
Heat A: Rebecca 13th
Heat B: Rachael 7th
Heat C: Penny 20th
2 out of 3 Australians into final. Hanny got 3rd in Pennys heat.
Good stuff everyone, and goodluck for rest of the week

I think Chris came 5th if you look at the WOC site. It was the finish sprint that bumped him up from 6th.
Well done Chris, great effort. Hope it goes as well or better in the Final.

Just an article from the Aussie perspective. Funny to here Jimbo taking the piss out of Troy.

Chris is starting 2 mins before the Thierry Gueorgiou, after stating that he is running his first WOC long to gain experience for the future it should be interesting to see how he goes.
