Had a go at mobile phone-o last weekend, it could be quite fun. The Czechs invented it I think at least it was reported in the Cz magazine O-Sport. Caller stays at base with the map and the runner has the card but no map. Suited sprint distance on campus terrain - lots happening in short time, good phone reception. Comparable to push-pull training exercise except that the mapreader cannot see what the runner is doing and so formulating the instructions is harder. But if the rapport is good I think the runner could go faster than normal:-))
