Events during december

Show Profile  Fredrik Posted: 27 November 2004, 9:15 PM
Hi all!

I am an orienteerer from Uppsala, Sweden and I am going to NZ in about two weeks. I will arrive in Auckland the 9th of december and then I will stay for three weeks. I think I will spend some days on the north island and the rest of the time on the south island.
Are there any fun orienteering events during this time? It would be great to do some orienteering in the NZ woods! Where is it best to run orieentering in NZ?

Regards, Fredrik
PS I should also send my regards to you all my from my friend Åsa Pahlén. DS

Not much happening in Canterbury Region (South Island) over that period. There is a 3hr Rogaine/Orienteering event in the evening on the 15 December, and hopefully some weekely training, but that's about it. However if you are keen for some training, a copy of some maps, etc, then contact me.

Thanks for your help. Maybe I will arrive to Auckland in time for the park orienteering. Otherwise it would be really good to get maps from you Chris and go for some training.

Regards, Fredrik
