Meeting Thurs 22.01.04

•Structure of organisation to be confirmed by end of next week.
•Event Managers to be Clem and Neil (confirm with Neil).
•Managers to be paid (fee to be decided).
•After the manager’s payment, the profits are to be split 50-50 between the National Orienteering Squad as a whole, and those members of the Squad who help at the event.
•Equipment – Mel to make up a required equipment list.
•Sponsorship – this needs to be done by the end of February. Need someone to take charge of this.
•Round the Bays – This clashes with Katoa Po. Need to find people to hand out entry forms.
•Natalie to investigate Corporate groups.
•Website – to be updated as soon as we decide on a date – Fraser.
•Contact Phil for info about the database, copies of letters to sponsors, and current Forest Run equipment.
•Insurance – contact Rob C to see what is covered under the NZOF.
•Bank account – Rob C.
•Mel to look at possible event dates.

Any comments from squad members at this stage?

I'm not keen to be an event manager this year.
Mainly because I want to concentrate on producing amazing D squad athletes.

Sweet as, Neo, someone said you were keen which is why we put that in.

Anyone else interested? You will be funded for this.
