Starts today in Poland. Lizzie, Laura, Ross, Tim. Part of "the Olympic dream", the IOF puts a lot of money into it. hard to find out how to follow, https://theworldgames2017.com/en/ doesn't lead me anywhere useful. Help?

Sky Sport have a channel dedicated to the World Games with about 14 hours a day of live coverage. Last night, during the Sprint Orienteering, they were showing Roller Skating.

The coverage from liveorienteering.com wasn't bad but they lacked a good producer - the commentator informed us that Laura was running down the finish chute to take first place while we enjoyed the scenic view of a Polish wall, for instance.

Kate M replaced Lizzie. Laura 11 Tim 15 Kate 33 Ross 34. I'm thinking Malcolm won't be impressed with the courses, mostly simple R-L choices.

Middle: Laura 27th Kate 29th Tim 30th Ross 32nd. Still being relatively early starters they may not have had the benefit of watching the TV coverage before their runs. https://iofreflections.blog/2017/07/26/the-world-games-compromises/

A magnificent run by Laura and then Tim, getting into the lead of the sprint relay, until a woopsie at the arena control saw him drop to 4th. Wonder if the course marking was not watertight? Ross and Kate ran well but 8 more teams got thru. An mp by Norway left us in 11th.
