I have to say that I quite like getting thrashed by New Zealand Elites (it helps that I have experience in it )... far worse is to go to a country like USA (where the Orienteering standard isn't as high) and STILL but repeatedly demolished by people you know aren't technically as flash... grrr -at least it's motivation to get fit.
