Can someone give clarity on this issue as trophies for Year 7&8 did not turn up at the recent NZSS Champs
Is there 1 trophy for this for boys and girls combined? or are there 2 trophies?
Where are the trophies now?

There's 1 combined trophy, the redcliffs rock. In 2015 it was won by St Cuths.

How is the winner decided. The Yr 7/8 school with the most points? I'll have to get onto St Cuths and find out where it is. Not a good look!!

From memory add points for Y7/8 boys + Y7/8 girls for each school to get the top overall school.
For some reason it's different to how the secondary school trophies are done

We will pass it on to Dio. Apologies for not bringing it to nationals.

So I guess this means that Pukekohe Intermediate win the trophy in 2016.
Maggi - please don't pass onto Dio. It needs to get to Pukekohe.
Hardly fair for single sex Intermediate schools... but until someone donates a 2nd trophy I guess it stays that way!

OK. We'll organise to get it to Pukekohe Intermediate.

Sounds like we do need a second trophy so I'll do something about and we can present it post event. Agree with you Rolf it's certainly a bit unfair, although having said that St Cuths were successful but better to have two.
