Does everyone know that as well as entries for the South island Champs being open, the entries for the NZ Mountain Bike Orienteering Champs in Hanmer are now open too? Event is the weekend immedistely after SI Champs, and looks set to be lots of fun. Plenty of hard work going in by Josie, Alister Metherell, Greig Hamilton and co to make it so....

Entries close this Sunday (16th November) for MTBO Nationals at Hanmer Springs.

Please get your entries in now. We also need your accommodation and dinner bookings too - as we need to confirm numbers with our providers.

Marquita Gelderman and Brent Edwards won the open classes in the sprint, which popped out of the forest into the grounds of the abandoned Queen Mary Hospital. Marquita won the long, the mens champion was Chris Forne, just hours after landing from Ecuador where his Seagate Team won the World Adventure Racing championship. And in a 4hr score event next day the winners were Emily Forne and Conal Boland-Bristow. Results on Winsplits.

Er, having trouble with Winsplits since this morning. 500 - Internal Server error. Looks like Winsplits but am I the only one?

In this connection, has anyone thought about our high reliance on Winsplits for historic (and sometimes only) results? Winsplits has never promised to keep all or any results available for all time, and clubs often close down their own specific event websites after a short while.

BTW, in Aus, we have been using Eventor for our results. Now thanks to Juffy (and others) from WA, we can know read Eventor data as splits, as can be seen on our website
