A Controllers Clinic is to be run on Monday 27th October(Labour Day, 8.30am to 3.30pm, at the Huapai School, just NW of Auckland.
This clinic is designed specifically for aspiring A grade controllers, although will benefit any controller, including A grade, who seeks to enhance their skills.
The focus will be on the roles and responsibilities of the controller of an A-grade event, including:
latest NZ and international rules
health and safety aspects
This workshop will be led by Marquita Gelderman (NWOC) who is one of four IOF accredited controllers in NZ. The day will start in the Hall and will include a field exercise at the nearby Riverhead Forest.
There is no cost to participants. Light lunch, tea and coffee will be provided.
