BTW - just to be clear I'm not trying to be critical I just wanted to check before we book our flights.

OK thanks, good to know even though I don't think that quite fits the bill to add to our family weekend of orienteering...
I'm sure the girls would't be disappointed by us doing something else that day in Auckland but they're not the one who decide whether spending $1000 to go to Auckland is worth it or not (although I'm hoping that Kaia's nearly at the stage where she thinks 3 days of orienteering sounds exciting.)

$1000 sounds like a bargain. It's costing me $3500 to fly down to Dunedin for a weekend.

yep having a family certainly makes having a weekend away a lot costlier...

Pity you insist on flying first class, Mark.

Hey all. Hanna and I are flying in to Auckland the day before Auckland champs, just saw it's on and thought we may as well give it a whirl!
Is anyone else having trouble getting onto the cmoc website? It seems to be down for me, we just want to enter ourselves.
Cheers

Hi Ross - may have been affected by the Auckland power cut lottery? Seems to be working now. Still have 3 days to enter http://cmoc.co.nz/wp/

Can't get to the CMOC website by any means, including the links in the thread above. Can anyone tell me what time the starts are tomorrow morning? And aim for Thames High for the event centre?

I was going to ask the same question Nic, my start is at 10.30ish I think. And turn right 200m after the 50kmh sign as you enter Thames if my memory is working correctly.
