55/60 are in, the missing ones appear to be those with the trackers! The tracking has frozen so some of them could yet appear above Tim - yep the last starter has pushed Tim down to 5th. Think that's it. Worth mentioning the third Australian Angus Robinson, he's a quiet achiever with 10th. 19th and 17th under his belt. Now attention shifts to the vets. Rob has just started and Marquita is 6min into her ride.

We should probably acknowledge that an elite competition has also been happening. The womens medals went to RussiaX2 and Denmark; the mens to Russia, France and Czech. Australia's two guys were 36th and 40th. Finally a question to ponder, does Italy's Origgi Giaime have a paper bike?

Top countries in the relay: Russia, Finland, Estonia. France getting back in there, I don't think it has been so strong since running the first MTBO WOC in 2002. Ignominious end for Australia: 3 X mp

And this might be the crowning glory... the Lithuanian girls have announced their top 5 boys: Bjørnar, Mattias, Oskar, Andi; and Tim!
