A Norwegian video this time with Oystein Kristiansen and Joakim Carlsson:

This was part of a Christmas calendar set up by the Swedish O-site Alternativet:

Today's (4th) window was a question: "Who is the Alanis Morissette listening international elite orienteer who has conducted this training session. Answer tomorrow". See:

If you go to the swedish link you will notice that it is Peter ' Shark' Näsholm doing some postings, (he was in NZ start of 01)

honestly, i reckon that norwegian video is the biggest bunch of balls i have ever seen. i find it distressing that the scandinavian elite are so sad.

The answer to the the question on the fourth day of Alternativet's Christmas calender is "The current mens World Champion in short distance orienteering"

Xmas video time again:

A couple of guys running around in the dark in Spain: 8MB 43MB

Parody of Gueorgiou & Wingstedt at Jukola 2004: 19MB

Gueorgiou's video from the WC in Italy this year: 15MB 6MB

Tiomila 2005 lead changeover - Petr Losman (SNO, the runner) waiting for Tore Sandvik (Halden, the orienteer) - about to go out on the 16km last leg of the Swedish 10 man relay - a leg with no gafflings (split controls). Consequently Petr stuck to Tore's back the whole way and sprinted past him in the finish.
Niclas Jonasson (SNO) calls for Petr
Somebody calls for Tore (probably the Halden runner)
Halden runner says "He's waiting for you - take it easy, throw away your headlamp" 4MB
