Sup people, hope everyone is well.
Thought this place would be a good hive mind of info about GPS watches.
What's the best value for money GPS watch and from where?
I don't have an iPhone and just want a simple but accurate enough GPS watch for tracking my trail running/tramping.
Ability to add an HRM is a bonus, but not a must.
Cheers!

I would buy the Garmin FR10 if I didn't need the HRM for less than $200 delivered from Wiggle (brand new model available soon)

Another option is the older model Garmin Forerunner 305, which is listed reasonably often on 1-day.co.nz for $200.
It may appear to be on the clunky side, but having a HRM included as well as 1-second gps recording is great value.

Cheers for the review site. So Garmin's pretty much the one?
Apart from a few with Suunto, that's the only brand anyone seems to have.

Polar also offer a gps watch, however you require an additional arm unit which measures the gps and sends the data to your watch.
Garmin is definitely the best.
