All orienteers are invited and encouraged to read and feedback on the specification and design of the new NZOF website. Two documents have been developed which we encourage you to read and then feed back on before August 12th;
1) An overview document which summarizes the key design features and approach for the proposed website. We recommend you read this first and it can be found on the NZOF website at:
http://www.nzorienteering.com/nzof/NZOF-Website-Overview-2012-07-29.pdf
2) A detailed design brief which has all the same information in detailed form. Not everyone may wish to read this, however it is available via the following link on the NZOF website:
http://www.nzorienteering.com/nzof/NZOF-Website-Development-Spec-2012-07-29.pdf
If these links do not work, go straight to the home page and access them there, or contact the General Manager, Stuart Payne who can send them to you.
We hope as many orienteers as possible will take the opportunity to input to this process. When you read the design brief, you will see that there are many features in the new proposed website which need to be debated and discussed, and that the final design is reflective of the wider orienteering communities needs.
All feedback should be directed to Erin Roberts, who is coordinating the process, and a special thanks to her and James Scott and Roger Woodroofe (and Stu Payne and Simon Addison), who have been actively involved with pulling this specification together.
