mmm, that article is quite similar to what I wrote isn't it, that pretty much sums up how mainstream media works. But great to see it in the mainstream, and once again, awesome result Matt!

Matt, I was excited about 10th, for a gold I was even glad that Mike rang me at 12:30 at night (even if I was getting up at 5:30am to catch a plane!) Congratulations! I hope it gives the whole team confidence in their abilities.

I remember the awesome event that was Alistair winning the World Cup event in NZ in 1994 when Matt was 1 or 2 years old. This is momentous. Awesome Matt. Lets hope it's not that long until NZs next win on the world stage. The relays have started now. Go NZ!
