Home in Welly thinking of a hardcore long weekend of orienteering. Great areas, courses and vibe. Friendly organisers. Good prizegivings, best event centres ever, lots of sun. Another Nationals bites the dust.

It was a great weekend. I'm not sure why Aucklander's complain about the rain - it was the best weekend of summer! Great maps, great forest, great burgers and well done to the hosts for all their hard work.

Ditto all above - fantastic Easter racing, and well done Pip and the NW team.
And a special thanks to the unsung heroes - the team of volunteers, led by Steven Reynolds who was overall coordinator - really great work and thanks - the event centres and overall organisation were superb - great job!

Great Weekend North West. Particularly liked the Spectator appeal for all events. The trend of having distinct T shirts for the host club / organisers is really good for lots of reasons also.

Has anyone else noted the exceptional runs by Matthew Goodall and Ed Cory-Wright in the relay. Well done.

Despite my results, I had a great time. Thanks to everyone but especially to Rob and Marquita, who were gracious hosts.
