just back from Swiss O Week day 5. When we left Lizzie was winning Welite with most of the field in. Fingers crossed!

The terrain today was very open but had lots of small detail and tricky vague areas. Sort of like Gladbrook on a big slope at 2000 metres.

Mike Adams was the best of the NZ men, continuing his quick acclimatisation to European orienteering. Tomorrow will be a good test for the WOC team members though as we return to the forest.

Everyone is very much looking forward to a technically difficult middle distance with lots of rock.

WOC preview up on World of O. Interesting reading. Looking at the maps I'm having a bit of trouble spotting a pattern to the terrain. Certainly not much to the vegetation.

Well done Lizzie! It was your best day too Jamie (points-wise).
Can't get the Scottish results (database error), anyone else?

Put my kilt on and this time it worked. And worth persisting. Graham Fortune, Trish Aspin and Bunny Rathbone with day wins, Graham and Trish are leading their classes with one day to go. Bunny is 2nd.

Ann Scott DNS last two days, hope you are OK Ann. Kieran: chin up, when you have a great run its very hard to do it again next day!

Graham and Trish confirmed their class by winning the last day, and the series! Bunny ended up second equal. Others with a great final day include Kate Fortune and Gavin Scott, both 4th. Kieran, it can only get better!
