OOcup

Show Profile  Jamie Posted: 22 July 2011, 11:02 PM
Today was the first day of the OOcup high on the Gora plateau in western Slovenia. We started with a multi-day distance and the big performance from the Lowis was Matt smashing the M20 field by over three minutes. Penny was also top ten in a womens field dominated by the top Fames.

Tomorrow is a middle distance on the steep detailed karate terrain which everyone is very much in love with.

Awesome stuff guys. Wish I was there, experiencing the "karate terrain" first hand. I'd suggest though Jamie turns off the predictive text on his spiffy internet phone.

damn predictive typing!

Yes last day of oocup today, which will be a fairly meaty multi day distance.

Penny and Matt have been the standouts, Matt despite a sprained ankle on day 3.

Amber fresh off the plane has started well and is working a bit of rustiness out of her technique.

We are loosing Matt and Selena after today but the kiwi presence will be increased at swiss o week with the arrival of most of the woc team.

Matt wins. Penny 4th after bad day at the office. Jamie almost feeling like an elite again but making too many mistakes. Slovenia is orienteering heaven put it on your next European trip.
