TWALK entries are open!

lxop Posted: 20 April 2011, 9:45 AM   That's right folks, entries are open now, at http://www.cutc.org.nz/twalk. Never heard of TWALK? It's only New Zealand's longest running endurance event, held every year at a mystery Canterbury location. TWALK caters to everyone from international adventure racing champions through to social plodders out for a scenic walk. Competitors are dropped off in the wilderness, in ridiculous costumes, and must follow the map and decipher cryptic clues in order to find checkpoints on the way to the hash house. TWALK is short for twentyfour hour walk, and accordingly it goes for 24 hours. But you don't need to be out the whole time; teams are welcome to stay at the hash house as long as they like, where there is cooked food, music, and partying all night. This is the 45th time this huge event has been run, so be a part of it this year!
