A reminder this great weekend of AR training and Rogaining is (fast) approaching on 6-7 November.
A unique opportunity to learn more about adventure racing from the experts, and/or compete in a Foot or MTB Rogaine in one of the world's best rogaining locations.
PLEASE NOTE you can compete in the Rogaine either on Foot (8 hours) or MTB (6 hours). Almost identical courses. Who will score higher - the MTB or Foot Rogainers?
Hope to see lots of orienteers leading the charge!
Entries for both events are rolling in nicely, and close on 31 October - don't miss out.

Should be a brilliant weekend with the mtb rogainers getting the highest scores I reckon.

Will depend on the proportion of off-track controls. In foot-bike events around Welly the bikers only get about 10% higher score. An interesting variant is where you can choose yourself whether and/or where to bike.

Big thanks to Mark, Brent and co for a great event on Saturday night - really well set and great seeing the MTB and foot options, with high scores for both being almost the same, cheers guys!

Couldn't agree more and rumour is it will become a regular event on the calendar, but may include a shorter version. No reason why it couldn't become as big as the Lactic Turkey rogaines that were held in the Waitaks until beaurocrasy took over.
