Technically not part of the NZ Secondary Schools...

Classic today, initial reports out of the forest are that Laura has won senior girls by 15 mins, and Nick Haan pipping Duncan in senior boys

Laura did 5.3 kms in 34 minutes in the best run of her life and won by 7 minutes from her JWOC team mates, Selena, Jamie and Jula who were close.

Nick beat Duncan and BJ Reynols in a close finish.

Results will be on winsplits and NWOC website this evening.

Nick Hahn is a machine. I pity those juniors that have to race him. Bad luck!

Greg ran hard and did a time similar to Duncan.

He was too scared to try Laura's course as her km rate was quicker than the guys.

Was the trial sprint a success? Urban formats are well suited to school orienteering from organiser and competitor perspectives; is it going to become part of the SS Championship?

Route Gadget is up for the individual, here: http://www.routechoice.co.nz/gadget/cgi-bin/reitti.cgi

Sprint should be up later on today

And, arguably the most important, the school competition results?

In case anyone hasn't found them yet, results are available at...

Thanks Owen. Was there forking on the phi-loop in the SB individual or just a device to get more distance? The 3 routes on RG all loop it the same way.

I think it was just to make the distance as everyone went the same way.
