A weekend of MTBO in RotoVegas

darren Posted: 23 June 2010, 7:30 AM   Just incase you haven't spotted it on the events calendar Orienteering Bay of Plenty is running a weekend of MTBO on 24/25 July in and around the world class MTB tracks in Whakarewarewa forest. It will be fairly low key, but awesome fun and old school clipcards will be used. If you don't entry can still be done for $15 per race on the day and we will have a few spares handed out first in, first served.   pete s Posted: 26 July 2010, 6:27 AM   That was an awesome weekend and HUGE thanks to Darren, Erin, Rebecca and co for some tough but fun courses. I have to admit I got caught out with some poor route choices, mainly due to being carried away on the twisty single track - much more fun but slower than road options!! Great effort guys and really good seeing some good numbers each day (70+??). Those that didn't make it - you missed out on some great riding in on some brilliant terrain - make sure you get to the next one! :-) Cheers Pete
