XPD adventure race has started with Brent's team Orion sharing the early lead. They are using spot trackers for each team, and 7 full NZ teams have entered, including macpac girlsontop team which has Viv Prince doing her first AR for a while.

A few interesting ideas for orienteering in "additions/alterations to the course booklet". Save on OCAD, updating maps etc.

Sleepmonsters.com.au has heaps of stories of interest. Race has stopped for a dark zone, and starts at dawn with white water rafting. See maps to follow spot trackers.
