I SEE DAVE
The travels of Dave are quite a story,
lots of girls and lots of glory.
Plenty of drunken escapades,
the brilliant plays he has made.
How it is, so easy for him,
to do anything (apart from swim)!
He was a talented orienteer,
like Mark McLean (goddam the beer).
It used to be, not words but deeds,
like Fraser Mills (goddam the weed).
And there never was many, "maybe's",
like Brother Stu (goddam the ladies)!
Lots of girls and lots of glory,
was the story, hunky dory.
But, the glory fades and the story's boring,
as we converse in his conservatory.
And he conserves our conversation,
To his mandatory glory and adulation.
