Hey, im a little bit guttered to find out that wellington champs this year is right in the middle of NCEA exams. surely this would have come into consideration when deciding the date. i know i wont be attending and maybe alot of other school kids too. and im no study nerd.

It is like that every year... always events on at bad times of year.

Yep - we only realised this a few months ago, and its too late to change the date. Sorry about that

We are going to delay the Starts on the Saturday till 1pm onwards.
This makes getting to the event a less of a rush, and we will give Start times to those classes likely to be sitting NCEA exams as late as we can (2:30 to 3:00pm).
That will allow time for anyone from Wellington or Palmie to get to the event (but maybe not you Duncan?)

School doesn't count for anything anyway, just call in sick

Gregory, Gregory, you really think anyone EVER listens to you??

Show Profile  GeneO Posted: 4 November 2009, 1:37 PM
Maby not for you Greg but if you got it right you might have ended up like the many people who dont have to pay for there university. Matt, Toby, Tom, Simon... they make profit off scholarships.

...As you sow so shall you reap...

Show Profile  SJ Posted: 7 November 2009, 6:31 AM
Student allowance for over 25s doesn't count Greg.

Hahaha so witty.

Any chance of M21E not having 6 minute starts for the middle?

Show Profile  Jason Posted: 16 November 2009, 7:03 AM
Is that a problem for you Jamie?

Show Profile  Jamie Posted: 16 November 2009, 3:09 PM
No, not really, just wondering if it was deliberate and if so why.

I quite like the pressure of having people behind and in front at close proximity.

It is a bit odd, and not what I was expecting.

But on the other hand it means I should be able to get a bit further round the course before having to worry about a big sweaty bulldozer running me down.
