New event on the calendar is a MTBO event on Sunday the 27th September on the Slater Road map with a good extension into Woodhill Forest using the areas of 16 mile, Hedley Road and Deaks Head areas. These are some of the best MTB tracks in Auckland and this will be great practice for those aiming for the P6 adventure race.
This will also be great practice for those planning on trying the NZ MTBO Champs in Rotorua on the 14/15th November.
This is the first champs for 3 years when Chris beat Jamie at Hamner, and Marquita had her 2nd NZ mtbo title.
