Tane, if you go to entries, you'll be taken to the fabian4 entry system where you can filter entries by country, and then you know which grades to look up. Wonder why Jean C-W isn't running?

One more day of tough looking hills, then I bet our boys and girls will be looking forward to some relief down at sea level on some flat and more familiar dune maps for days 4 & 5. If they're half ruined by then, day 6 back up in the heather hills should finish 'em off.

ACW took a win on day 1 in the M40 as the best looking kiwi so far.

JCW might be in the system as a Brit? As might be one or two other kiwis I'd suspect of being there, but I'm not going to go trolling through all the british entries to find out!

Jean is/was sick. In fact Al took her to hospital on Sunday morning before coming to the event. It was flu symptoms which got steadily worse until Jean was pretty scared. It must have been pretty bad as the C-Ws are not ones to over react. They sent her home from hospital saying there wasn't much to be done other than rest and I heard that she was at the event yesterday although I saw all the other Cory-Wrights. Ed is looking forward to the next two days of sand dunes which he thinks are more his terrain. Personally they look a bit easy sand dunes to me and I'd rather have an excuse to walk up hills (although maybe a stomach that makes most people think I'm giving brith next week is probably enough!). Al's results are really impressive considering the competition (Steven Nicholson, Dave Peel etc)

Yesterday was very rainy but otherwise we've had very acceptable Scottish summer weather.
