JWOC09 Long

Show Profile  Norm Posted: 7 July 2009, 3:07 AM
It is just coming up to midnight here in Italy.
There is a massive thunder and lightning storm going on, with heavy rain, for about the past hour.
If they are getting that up in the mountains, it will certainly make the terrain for tomorrow at Passo Rolle rather mushy...!

Long Start Times for Tuesday 7

Jourdan 10:00
Scott 11:38
Tom 13:16
Toby 13:26
Simon 14:30
Andrew 15:42

Rachel 10:27
Nicola 10:31
Angela 11:33
Georgia 11:51
Greta 12:52
Kate 14:03

Which translates in NZ times to:
Jourdan 20:00
Rachel 20:27
Nicola 20:31
Angela 21:33
Scott 21:38
Georgia 21:51
Greta 10:53
Tom 23:16
Simon 23:26
Kate 00:03
Toby 00:30

a little more respectable than the sprint

Show Profile  mick finn Posted: 7 July 2009, 7:50 AM
Cool - go guys!

Show Profile  Greg Posted: 7 July 2009, 8:35 AM
The later starts in NZ time should be

Toby 23:26
Kate 00:03
Simon 00:30
Andrew 01:42

Andrew is the last starter (and Jourdan the first) so at least 75mins after his start is about 3am NZ to see the winning results.

Go hard team. Nice long run in the forest for you today...

Show Profile  Mike Adams Posted: 7 July 2009, 1:51 PM
Oddly, if you try to follow the results live, instead of getting race up dates, you get to listen to Bobby McFerrin singing, "Don't Worry, Be Happy".

Show Profile  Michael Posted: 7 July 2009, 3:36 PM
Oh dear looks like Jourdan had to blaze the trail through the jungle..

Show Profile  mick finn Posted: 7 July 2009, 3:39 PM
Yeah the other pages are better but static http://live.jwoc2009.it

Show Profile  Michael Posted: 7 July 2009, 3:50 PM
Looks like its not the Anglia's day today. But the sprint was fantastic..

Show Profile  Michael Posted: 7 July 2009, 4:00 PM
Which of the women is going to be the one to kick Butt... off the podium?

Show Profile  Michael Posted: 7 July 2009, 4:22 PM
Well that took a while: it was Agni Fjogstad Nielsen of Norway, who joins the top 6. Well done Alice.

Show Profile  Michael Posted: 7 July 2009, 4:42 PM
Georgia and Scott should be pleased with themselves - both 3rd in the E-speak Cup as we speak, so to speak.

Show Profile  Neil K Posted: 7 July 2009, 4:49 PM
Yeah, looks like Georgia has finished strongly after a tough start. Greta's on fire so far.

Show Profile  Michael Posted: 7 July 2009, 4:51 PM
Wow, Greta has kicked Butt's butt at R1 and R2. Stay cool for 15 more minutes....

Show Profile  Martin Posted: 7 July 2009, 5:06 PM
Greta into 8th!

Show Profile  mick finn Posted: 7 July 2009, 5:07 PM
Looking good!
