The bushrangers were a bit too good on home ground at their own major champs&& these are the scores:

Sprint: Women: Bushrangers Pinestars : 27-13 (we had two mispuches and the aussies had one, which is why the scores look funny here)
Men : Bushrangers Pinestars: 34-18
Overall: Bushrangers Pinestars: 61 31
Long: Women: Bushrangers Pinestars : 32 20
Men : Bushrangers Pinestars: 26 -26
Overall: Bushrangers Pinestars: 58 46
Overall Assie Champs: B P : 119 77

Overall for the year (two matches):
B P : 240 - 226

They were just too good on the sprint where they more or less cleaned up, but The Pinestars managed to do a lot better on the long, but still we should have won with two points in the long to have been able to get an equal result in overall for 2008.

It would have looked a bit better if the mispunches had been avoided in the sprint. Not sure what how well it would have looked as I don't know the times for mp (maybe somebody can help out - it looks like it was a sneaky control of some sort with this many mp). But yep reasonable close in the end.

The Pinestars will be ready for revenge at Oceania in the beginning of January 2009! It is not far away - and the hard miles has to be done already nowish and all the way in!
