In Bendigo we are promoting orienteering with a series of CATI's. WE have had a great respones and I am looking for feedback as to what other clubs do to keep people coming along. We have a winter series of 35 Bush O events and I am planning an "orienteering pathway to keep people interested. Any suggestions? Especially from NZ.
thanks

CATI's are Come and Try It events, and we try not to do street events in the suburbs so we have our orienteering events in the bush -- where they are supposed to be.

Hi Peter.
We have just held our Strategic Workshop, planning our way for the sport here in NZ for the next 4 years.
Out of this will come some interesting finds, primarily along the lines that many participants want things 'close to home'. If you can offer bush events close to home then thats awesome, but if you are driving 1hr each week to get to this I am sure you are noticing a drop off.
You should take a look at the report when its out in a few weeks.
